To call us “breeders” is really kind of funny. In the 17 years we have owned Weimaraners we have bred only four litters. Two of those “litters” turned out to be single puppy litters, (we still have both of them). The truth is we only breed one of our girls when we want a new family addition. Therefore, we breed dogs that are the kind of dogs we want to live with. We don’t breed to sell puppies or experiment to see what we would get if we crossed Susie with Duke. We don’t breed to win dog shows. We do breed for the betterment of the breed, keep excellent temperaments, hold true to breed type and of course for healthy dogs.
Our dogs are completely breeder/owner handled and are multi-titled, versatile champions that have proven bird instincts and the brains and temperament to be top obedience competitors. But more importantly they are family members, sharing our lives and the sofa. We enjoy going to dog events as a family in our motor home which we bought so we could all go. We hate being away from any of our dogs and we rarely are.
We are members of the Weimaraner Club of America and we adhere to the Code of Ethics. We also belong to the Sacramento Valley Weimaraner Club and the San Francisco Bay Weimaraner Club. The last litter we bred was in February, 2007. The next one won’t be for some time but if you would like to be considered and are willing to wait for a puppy, please email us at carizma@clearwire.net and we’ll be happy to keep your information and notify you when we plan our next litter. |
